Tournament Schedules
The Tournament of Champions was develooped as another way to award teams who play in AFA tournaments all year long.  A point system will be used and points will be awarded to participating teams. Champions of local tournaments will be awarded a berth to the Tournament of Champions. The Tournament of Champions is limited to 12 participating teams. If there is not 12 different champions then the open berths will be awarded to the highest point winners. Lets find out who the best fo the best really is on October 4th. The Champions of the TOC will be awarded paid berth to the Fall World Series On November 8th.

    These rules are the guidelines of the Tornament fo Champions contest.  The cost of each tournament will be as advertiesed. The rules will be posted at all TOC tournaments.  All Teams must be sanctioned by AFA and be based in Nevada. A Nevada based team is defined as a team with 80% of it's rostered players being Nevada residents.  The coach, sponsor, manager, and players are responsible to insure the team is participating in the proper division and that all players are properly classified . Teams are to be legal at all times and players must have their ID on them at all times.  If there is a protest for ID check and a player does not have his ID her will be ejected from the game.  Anyone caught using a player that has been suspended from AFA will forfiet all games that player participated in and will be disqualified from that tournament. 

1.   Men's C,D,and E tournament teams must play in a minimum of (4) four tournaments to maintain their berth. Forfiets do not count as tournaments played.

2.   You only get a berth to the finals if you win a tournament or in the case of less then 12 champions we will be giving berths to the top point qualifiers.

3.    If your team is caught with a higher class player your team will automatically be moved the next highest level or become ineligible to finish the contest.

4.    AFA TOC Rules will be used at all tournaments along with AFA national slow pitch rules.

5.    Teams moved up by the state classification board will keep half of thier points. Teams moved down by the state classification board will keep all their points.

6.     Teams that play in a higher classification then they are classified will recieve 20 extra points.

7.     Any team that signs up for and does not show to a tournament will be suspended until the entry fee is paid. The team roster is suspended until the fee is paid. Players may be released from the suspended roster for a $45.00 fee. All Entry Fees and Rosters must be turned in before the start of the first game. A reciept for your entry fee will be given and you must show the umpire before the start of the game.

8.     The tournament director has the right to make the tournament an equalizer if needed. Nevada by laws will be enforced for all equalizer tournaments.

9.      If no roster is turned in and there is a protest the team is ejected from the tournament.See rule 7.

10.    If a team drops out of the finals once they are set the next team with the highest points will be awarded the spot.

11.    Rosters must be filled out completely with first and last names, address, date of birth, and signatures (legible). Managers will be responsible to ensure this is done. Managers must sign each
roster and turn into the director.
